Public key

A public key is similar to a digital mailing address. It is a unique combination of letters and numbers that the owner of a digital wallet provides to others to receive cryptocurrencies or NFTs. Just as you give someone your e-mail address to send you a message, you give your public key to someone to send you digital currency or NFTs.

Each public key is associated with a private key, which acts as a kind of digital signature. This private key is necessary for authorizing transactions and managing the resources associated with the corresponding public address.
